Thanks for having this place. This afternoon and evening I visited for my first time. Every one of the staff that I dealt with was helpful and friendly. The two young men who were tending the back track were real standouts (Cody and Shane (or something like that)).

 

I was especially impressed with the back track. The track is sufficiently slick and the cars are sufficiently fast (and quite equally matched) to provide fun and challenge. All I could muster today was mid 13s to upper 12s, but I am looking forward to learning how to actually drive. (I hear that you are a driving genius!)

I also tried the front track, but only 3 of those cars were fairly evenly matched, and besides, I just had no clue as to what I was doing (or should have been doing) on that track. The best I could manage was mid 11s.

 

Also, I was very interested to learn of the possibility of a racing league. I gave my name and phone number to the girl at the front desk to call me if we can wrangle up a few more competitors.

 

For all of my 60+ years, racing is something that I have always wanted to do, done very little of (the cost of real racing is way out of my league, and I could never be good enough to be paid to do it, and been very poor at. Your track, right here in Lubbock, gives me hope that I might be able to learn a little bit about finessing a car around a track before I need a walker!

We had a b-day party for my boys out there on October 17th (2010).  I just wanted to tell you guys just how pleased we were with ALL of the staff.  We had 16 (I think) kiddos ranging from 4 to about 6 years old.   I know I was pretty flustered and frazzled by the end but NEVER once did any of the staff show any frustration and in fact absolutely were nothing but polite and helpful. Please extend my praises to everyone working that day. And thank you so so much for a very enjoyable and memorable day for my boys.  Please let me know if I can ever do anything for you guys.

 Just want to thank you for putting up with us on Friday, Nov. 29th, on my husband's b-day (Rene Martinez). I was very skeptical about going out there. and you proved me wrong, we had a blast out there. I will definitely tell everyone about Dave's Need 4 Speed. You treated us well and made sure that we enjoyed the racing. Thank you once again.

My husband brought me to your track Sat. Aug. 17th for my birthday. I thought he was crazy, well I already knew he was crazy. Anyway I had an absolute blast and actually beat him twice. Hope to come back soon. I am also looking forward for the younger track as we have two young boys who would love to race as well.

Outstanding! Someone needed to do this a long time ago. All the guys at Firehawk are very pumped up and ready to start our league. We would all like to let you know how much we appreciate the practice laps that you have let us run and for the  great attitude you have had toward everyone that has had the chance to meet you.     Thanks for the opportunity to race at your awesome track!  I just wanted to tell you that I had a blast in Ft. Worth for the Craftsman truck race and the Indy car race!  The motel was awesome and the seats were even better than I could imagine. Also thanks for the $100, it came in handy to eat and drive up there and back on. Just wanted to thank you and KQBR (FM 99.5 "The Bear") for the opportunity to have a blast.  Even if I hadn't won the Fantasy Weekend I still would have had a great time at your track!  Your Karts are awesome and FAST!  I tell everyone I know and meet about your track and the great time I had.  It makes it even better that you invert the field and change cars for every race and also "tug" the engine on someone that is not being fair.  I love how you can bump other drivers and not get chewed out for it!!!  Thanks for the GREAT time!!!!
